STUDENT EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
Department: KSU Geauga and Regional Academic Center Admissions
Description of Duties: Prepare mailings; computer data entry; lead prospective students and families on campus tours; assist at EMPOWER (Orientation and Advising program) including registration, directing students, assisting with group discussions, and preparing folders; other general office duties as assigned.
Skills Required: Positive attitude, good communication skills, basic computer knowledge, attention to detail, ability to work independently with minimal direct supervision. Must be comfortable speaking to small or large groups and have basic knowledge about the programs and services at Kent State University at Geauga and Regional Academic Center. Confidentiality is a must (employees will sign confidentiality agreement when hired).
Other Requirements: Must be enrolled in Fall classes at the Geauga Campus and/or Regional Academic Center following Summer employment and maintain a 2.5 GPA.
Hours: Approximately 10 hours per week.
Employment Dates:April 19-June 18 (may be extended)

Rate of Pay: $7.85/hr.
