Kent Trumbull secures spring enrollment "three-peat"Posted Jan. 29, 2013
Kent State University at Trumbull announced today that enrollment for the Spring 2013 semester stands at 3,141 students, marking the third straight spring semester that the campus has seen enrollment surpass the 3,000-mark, according to the official 15-day figures released today.
The Spring 2012 figure of 3,255 was Kent State Trumbull’s all-time enrollment high, while the streak began with the Spring 2011 figure of 3,046.
“With the improving job prospects we expected our enrollment to decrease slightly,” said Robert Sines, dean for Kent Trumbull. “I believe more individuals are seeing the advantages to getting a university education. We certainly would like to see more residents getting a degree, but are still pleased to be providing our citizens with an opportunity to be better prepared for employment in the future.”
