Bookstore Offers New Textbook Rental ServicePosted Aug. 9, 2013
As summer is quickly coming to an end, Kent State Columbiana County campuses are preparing for the beginning of another successful academic year. While students are busy scheduling their courses and securing financial aid, they will also need to rent or purchase textbooks for the semester.
Kent State at East Liverpool and Kent State at Salem campus bookstores are excited to offer a new service to their students. Students will now have the option to rent their textbook at a kiosk located in the bookstore at each campus. Textbooks can be rented for a fraction of their purchase price.
Betty Crabtree, manager of the East Liverpool and Salem bookstores is excited to offer a cost saving alternative to students. “Any time we are able to offer a service that allows our students to save money, we are eager to do so,” Crabtree said. “While costs associated with higher education continue to rise, it is ideal to be able to relieve some of the financial burden our students are facing.”
The bookstores have stocked up on new merchandise for the fall semester. They offer a wide variety of Kent State apparel, memorabilia, office supplies and more. For more information regarding the new textbook rental service please contact Betty Crabtree at firstname.lastname@example.org.
