Human Resource Symposium on July 25

The Corporate University at Kent State University at Stark recognizes that in today’s competitive marketplace, preparing yourself and your workforce with the right organizational tools is critical for continued success. In response to this professional goal, The Corporate University will present the 2013 Human Resource Symposium to provide support and training by qualified and experienced professionals.
 
The Human Resource Symposium will take place on Thursday, July 25 from 8:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. at The University Center at Kent State Stark, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township.
 
The keynote presentation, The Power of Attitude, will be delivered by Marvin Montgomery. For more than 30 years, Montgomery has earned widespread, national recognition and praise for his informative, practical and stimulating programs that reflect his basic philosophy: “Preparation and practice are the keys to sales success.” He is the author of Practice Makes Perfect: The Professional’s Guide to Sales Success, as well as the soon to be released book, Training Wheels. He is also a regular contributor to local publications, such as Smart Business Cleveland, Smart Business Akron/Canton, COSE Update and the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
 
This human resources conference is focused on how to prepare yourself and your workforce for the future. The event agenda features sessions led by experts from multiple disciplines with real-world experience. The topics include:
