Entrepreneur Experience on Tuesday, June 24

Morley Winograd, a Millennial generations expert and author, will be the keynote speaker for the Entrepreneur Experience on Tuesday, June 24 from 7:30 - 9:30 a.m. at Kent State University at Stark’s University Center, 6000 Frank Avenue NW in Jackson Township. The event is sponsored by the Small Business Development Center (SBDC) and the Stark Entrepreneurship Alliance.

The Entrepreneur Experience series, presented by the SBDC at Kent State Stark, is designed to encourage the professional practices of entrepreneurs at all levels. The proceeds from these events benefit the Small Business Development Center Scholarship Fund.

Keynote Speaker: Morley Winograd
How a New Generation is Remaking America

A leading expert on the Millennial Generation, Morley Winograd serves as senior fellow at the University of Southern California’s Annenberg School’s Center on Communication Leadership and Policy.

Based in Los Angeles, Winograd and Michael Hais, his co-principal on Mike & Morley, have co-authored three highly acclaimed books: Millennial Majority (2013), Millennial Momentum: How a New Generation is Remaking America (2011) and Millennial Makeover: MySpace, YouTube and the Future of American Politics (2008).

The Millennial Generation gurus regularly share their knowledge as on-air pundits and contributors for The New York Times, The Today Show, CNN, USA Today, PBS NewsHour, NPR, Barron’s, Forbes, Reuters, Univision, The Christian Science Monitor, The National Journal, New Geography and PolicyMic.

Winograd’s career began in the telecommunications industry with Michigan Bell. He propelled the success of small business customers for AT&T’s Western Region Commercial Markets and is responsible for creating the AT&T University of Sales Excellence Program, which won national recognition in Peter Block’s book, Stewardship, as well as Stan Davis and Jim Botkin’s book, The Monster Under the Bed.
