Landscape Design Programs - Horticulture Technology
Seeking a landscape design degree? "Green Up America" with an Associate Degree in Horticulture Technology & landscape design programs.
Offered at Kent State Salem, the
Associate of Applied Science degree in Horticulture Technology trains students for careers in the landscape management, turf management, tree care, nursery, greenhouse, and other related horticulture professions.
With an increasing emphasis on environmental quality, homeowners are continuing to spend more on developing and maintaining their personal landscapes. Due to a shortage of trained technicians and managers entering these outdoor professions, leaders from all facets of the horticulture industry worked with faculty members at Kent in developing KSU Salem’s rigorous answer to landscape design programs – a broad-based plant and soil science curriculum. The results in our landscape design programs have been outstanding.
