Student Spotlight

Kent State Senior John Siefer is well on his way to fulfilling his career ambitions and making the most of his education. Majoring in horticulture at the Salem campus, he is a certified arborist through the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA) and a member of the Ohio chapter of ISA.

Faculty Spotlight

Associate Professor of Biological Sciences Dr. Roxanne Burns, joined the Kent State Columbiana County campuses more than 22 years ago.

Alumni Spotlight

Kent State University at Salem alumnus Jennifer Andres feels fortunate to work at Salem Junior High as a reading specialist. Attending Kent State Salem and graduating with a bachelor's degree in early childhood education, coupled with a reading endorsement, allowed her to stay close to her friends and family.
